Cat Life Maine's
First Annual Fuzzy Friend Clinic

Join us for a purr-fect day of fun and learning at Cat Life Maine's First Annual Teddy Bear Clinic! This unique event is designed to engage and educate children about the importance of responsible pet ownership in a delightful and interactive way. Bring your favorite stuffed animals for a special "check-up" conducted by our friendly and knowledgeable volunteers.

What to Expect:

  • Stuffed Animal Check-Ups: Kids can bring their teddy bears, plush kitties, or any beloved stuffed animals for a thorough "health examination." Our volunteers will guide them through the process of checking their stuffed friend's heartbeat, ears, paws, and more, using real pet care techniques adapted for the event.

  • Teddy Bear Surgery: Kids can bring their favorite toys in that need repair and our knowledgeable volunteers will mend their stuffies for no cost!

  • Educational Stations: Learn about proper pet care, nutrition, grooming, and the importance of regular veterinary visits through fun, hands-on activities.

  • Interactive Demonstrations: Watch and participate in demonstrations on how to brush your pet's fur, clean their teeth, and ensure they get enough exercise and mental stimulation.

  • Craft Corner: Create your own pet-themed crafts.

  • Story Time: Enjoy heartwarming stories about pets and their adventures, emphasizing the bond between animals and their owners.
